This inventory from the Liberian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare starkly illustrates the huge gap between the what Liberia has–and what it needs–over the next six months as it struggles with the crippling Ebola epidemic. Note also the need for protective suits–the country projects a gap of 989,985 suits, without which more people are likely to be infected.

Dated Oct. 10, the rest of the ministry’s situation report shows, among other things, 2,425 deaths so far from Ebola of whom 95 have been health care workers.
